The best method of using Lavender Essential Oil for sleep is to put two drops on the inside of your wrists and rub your two wrists together. That will allow the oil to be absorbed into your system. You could also inhale deeply through your nose and that will also help relaxation.
You can also use a diffuser to with the Lavender and let the aroma fill your room.
Another is to have a bath and use the Lavender Essential Oil along with your bath salts.
You could also try to rub the Lavender Essential Oil on the bottom of your feet. Your feet are a sweet spot for the absorption of the benefits into your system. Also, it has the benefit of allowing you to inhale the aroma while you relax in bed.
