Mashed potatoes are a great comfort food, particularly as the evenings have dramatically shortened and Winter is well and truly upon us. Simple mashed potatoes will compliment almost any dinner.
Why not add a little twist to your recipe, that is effortless? Try to add two drops of Rosemary Essential Oil for a delicious herb flavour and add that little bit of difference to your mashed potatoes.
2 tablespoons butter
1 small red onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 drops Rosemary Essential Oil
½ cup milk
Pepper, to taste
How to make:-
Place potatoes in pot with enough water to cover.
Cook 30 minutes or until tender and drain.
Add butter to potatoes and set aside.
Add garlic, and onions to skillet and cook until tender.
Mash potatoes with onion mixture, milk, and add two drops of Rosemary Essential Oil before mashing, for a fantastic herb flavour. You can add salt and pepper to taste, although we do not like salt!
